Histological transformations of the endocrine gland structures and the biochemical change of blood of the black breast after hibernation when using a new veterinary drug

Abstract

The article first studied the morphological study of the endocrine glands and the biochemical study of the blood of an Eastern European hedgehog in the stressful period after hibernation (in the conditions of the Belarus range). The prophylactic effect of the «Calcemagphosvit» drug against metabolic disorders and stressful situations in hedgehogs is proved. Prevention of stressful effects (awakening after hibernation) is one of the main ways to improve the health of the hedgehog.
