Author Guidelines

Manuscripts of articles sent to the journal should be devoted to problems of veterinary medicine, biology, zootechnics, immunology, biotechnology, pharmacology, sanitation, economics, etc.

Articles are submitted in one copy in a printed form with a clear image of the font on A4 paper, as well as in an electronic version or sent by e-mail to the Institute bievm@tut.by, or directly to the editorial department of KNIR@tut.by.

The output of the article indicates: UDC, title of the article, initials and surnames of authors, academic degrees and titles, institution, city. The article should consist of the following sections: introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, conclusion. It is allowed to publish articles of a review type without subdivision into sections.

The article must be accompanied by:

– a covering letter of the relevant institution (organization);

– an abstract of 500 to 1000 characters in Russian and English, made on a computer (indicating the title of the article and the full name of the author);

– contact information: surname, name and patronymic of the author in full, position held, academic degree, title and full name of the institution (organization). In addition, the author's phone number and address must be indicated. If the article is written by a team of authors, information should be submitted for each author separately;

– expert opinion of the organization on the possibility of publication.

The following requirements are imposed on the design of articles:

– the manuscript submitted in electronic form must be typed in a text editor Microsoft Word. A4 paper size, margins: left - 3 cm, right - 1.5 cm, top and bottom - 2 cm;

– the text of the article must be in Russian;

– use Times New Roman font for typing (font size 14 with one and a half spacing), the number of printed characters - at least 14,000;

– tables are typed directly into Word;

– formulas are drawn up in the editor of formulas Microsoft Equation, available from the editor Word;

– figures (diagrams, graphs, diagrams) must be prepared using any of the following programs: Excel, Power Point, Photoshop, Corel Draw. All drawings should be clear and not more than 170x240 mm. Legends for figures and diagrams are given separately;

– photographs must have a contrasting image and be printed on glossy paper with a size of at least 9x12 cm, on the back of a photograph (figure) must indicate the name of the author, the title of the article and the number of the photograph (figure);

– in accordance with the International System of Units of Measurement (SI), the dimension of all quantities used in the articles must correspond to the specified system of measurement;

– the list of references is drawn up in accordance with GOST 7.1-2003 “Bibliographic record. Bibliographic description. General requirements and rules".

References should be presented in a general list (no more than 15-20 items) at the end of the article on a separate page. Bibliographic records are arranged alphabetically in the original language. References in the text are indicated by an ordinal number in square brackets.

Articles accepted for publication shall bear the date of the decision on their publication.

If the above requirements are not met, the editorial board reserves the right not to publish the article.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscripts are accepted if has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
  2. The materials should be prepared in a format OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or World Perfect.
  3. Internet links are provided as a complete URL. 

  4. Text should be typed with an interval of one and a half line spacing, font Times New Roman, 14 pt; to highlight the accents it is recommended to use italics rather than underlining (except Internet links). All images, graphics and tables are placed within the text according to the meaning of the particular part of text  (and not at the end of the document).
  5. Text should follow the stylistic and bibliography requirements as stated in  Regulations  located in the Part "About Us." 

  6. Please, remove the authors' names from the title of the article and other parts of the document to ensure the  anonymity of reviewing.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:
