About biological regulators blood-sucking black flies (dipter: simuliidae) in water currents central non-blackearth zones of Russia
Abstract
Icrosporidies (14 species), coelomycidies (12), mermitids (7) and mites (3) cause diseases of blood-sucking black flies in the streams of the Central non-blackearth zone of Russia. Mermitids regulate the number of black flies mainly in pure streams, microsporidies and coelomycidies - in polluted ones. Water mites do not play a decisive role in reducing the number of black flies, compared with other parasites.
