            Abstract
            The article presents data on the determination of bactericidal activity and effectiveness of a new antimastitis preparation «Mastin». The experience of determination of bactericidal activity of veterinary Mastin preparation is described. As the test cultures were selected, KMIEV strains: Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus epidermidis, Escherichia coli. It was found that Mastin effectively inhibits the growth of staphylococci, streptococci and E. coli. The article presents data on the establishment of the effectiveness of the new drug. Preparation veterinary «Mastin», is an effective drug (85.5±0.5%) in the treatment of cows with subclinical and clinical mastitis and can be recommended for wide practical application.
