Abstract

The article presents the characteristics of livestock complexes and some risks of epizootic danger when growing productive animals. One of the significant threats to the pig industry today is African swine fever. In this regard, in order to prevent the introduction of this infectious pathology, it is important to create a reliable biological protection of livestock complexes.

Abstract

The article presents data on the species diversity of blood-sucking arthropods in settlements of various types of the northern climatic region of Belarus. A total of 3 species of Ixodidae − Ixodes persulcatus (Schulze, 1930), Ixodes ricinus (Linnaeus, 1758) and Dermacentor reticulatus Fabricius, 1794; 14 species of mosquitoes from 3 genera (Aedes Meigen, 1818; Anopheles Meigen, 1818; Coquillettidia Dyar, 1905) and 9 black fly species from 6 genera (Simulium Latreille, 1802; Wilhelmia Enderlein, 1921; Cnetha Enderlein, 1921; Eusimulium Roubaud, 1906; Boophthora Enderlein, 1921; Odagmia Enderlein, 1921) have been found. The abundance of Ixodidae averaged 6,1±1,97 per flag/km, adult mosquitoes − 12,5±2,9 individuals per sampling, larvae − 40,5±22,4 individuals per square meter, immature black flies − 96,6±12,7 individuals per square decimeters. The highest species diversity of mosquitoes was observed in the city of regional subordination, black flies − in the town of district subordination.

Abstract

An antigens of tuberculosis mycobacteria (MTB), microgranulomas with acid-fast grains, cell wall deficient (CWD) MTB were found in tumors of small domestic animals. CWD MTB were isolated from tumor in all cases. The isolates did not differ in morphology and antigenic composition, either from each other or from isolates from human tumor cell cultures (Kasumi, Jurkat, Hela), had up to 26 common antigens with typical MTB, were resistant to antibiot- ics affecting cell wall synthesis. MTB as universal intracellular pathogen with unique filterability and «immortality» can be considered as the most likely etiological agent of oncogenesis based on the hypothesis following: DNA absorp- tion of aging and necrotic normal cells by persistent microorganisms, hybridization of their DNA with host DNA with subsequent expression of the hybrid genome turns normal cells into cancer ones.

Abstract

The formulated principles of increasing the resistance of poikilothermic animals are justified. They allow the development of action plans for the sustainable management of fish species, including ways to rehabilitate and control the spread of pathogens. The results of the research are the scientific basis for creating stable communities and populations that allow assessing the impact of negative factors in environmental protection activities and increasing productivity in aquaculture.

Abstract

The article considered a comparative characteristic of the compatibility of temperaments of cynologists and service dogs for training in a cynological center. The results of studies on the study of types of higher nervous activity in cynologists and service dogs are presented in order to determine the effectiveness of their training.
