Abstract

Dependences and regularities of the influence of abiotic factors on the formation of resistance of poikilothermic animals on the model species Cyprinus carpio have been resistanced. A sharp decrease in the temperature of the aquatic environment leads to an increase in the level of cortisol in the blood serum of fish. A decrease in the amount of dissolved oxygen in the aquatic environment leads to an increase in cortisol levels. With an increase in the time spent in an anhydrous medium in the serum of Cyprinus carpio, the level of protein decreases, and the level of cortisol increases.

Abstract

The genome of tuberculosis mycobacterium (MTB) was detected in ultrapasteurized milk from countries that have and do not have free status from bovine tuberculosis. Also cell wall deficient (CWD) MTB were isolated from all milk samples, that indicates latent tuberculosis infection in herds supplying milk to dairy enterprises.

It was found that ultrasmall (less than 0.22 μm) thermally stable protective forms of MTB were present in milk. They can restore viability as CWD MBT and possibly play a role in the induction of oncogenesis and other pathological conditions.

The existing criteria determining the status of herds do not allow the detection of latent tuberculosis infection, since persistent CWD (L-) forms of MBT do not cause the development of macroscopic changes and hypersensitivity to tuberculin. To identify the real situation in the herds, it is necessary to use PCR and to inoculate special nutrient media with blood and milk mixed with mycobacterial growth stimulants.

Abstract

The results of scientific and industrial experiments on the assessment of the new complex preparation’s therapeutic effect based on bioelements «Calcemagfosvit» in postpartum pathology in cows are presented. It was discovered that the therapeutic efficacy of calcemagfosvit in postpartum paresis was 83,3 %, and in postpartum retention – 87,5–88,9 %.

Abstract

The aim of the work was to study the effectiveness of the inclusion of secondary products of oil production from rapeseed in the diets of young cattle. The research was carried out in the RDUE "ZhodinoAgroPlemElita" of the Smolevichi district of the Minsk region for three months. The qualitative and energetic composition and characteristics of a new fodder source, as a raw material after the separation of oilseeds of rape, have been studied. The efficiency of enrichment of mixed fodders with rapeseed soap stock and feeding it in the composition of mixed fodders for young cattle in the amount of 0.5 and 1.0% has been investigated. It was found that with the introduction of oily bleaching clay into the composition of mixed fodders in an amount of 0.5 and 1.0% and their enrichment with crude fat with the introduction of a phosphatide-oil emulsion into the concentrate composition at doses of 1.0%, 2.0 and 3, 0% average daily gains increased, and feed costs per 1 kg of gain decreased accordingly.

Abstract

Sanitary significant types of helminths of domestic carnivores have a complex morphobiochemical structure that does not allow most chemical compounds to penetrate into the egg. The complete absence of disinfection properties was established with respect to eggs of Toxocara canis and Taenia spp. preparations belonging to the group of oxidants (hydrogen peroxide and potassium permanganate 1–30 %), alkalis (sodium hydroxide 1–3 %). The absence of ovocidal properties in relation to toxocar eggs is also characterized by sodium hypochlorite obtained by the electrochemical method, with an active chlorine concentration of less than 7 mg/l. A decrease in the humidity of the environment due to sanitary products on a mineral basis to 40.0 % led to the cessation of the development of toxocara eggs and their 100% death within 7 days. With soil moisture below 8.0 %, after 48 hours, the development of irreversible changes in the morphological structure of 100 % of the eggs was noted.

Abstract

The article presents the results of the search and development of methods for the use of new molluscicides available to practical veterinary specialists and livestock breeders. It was found that mineral fertilizers widely used in agriculture – ammonium sulfate and potassium chloride have a sulfficiently high (95–100 %) molluscicidal effect against freshwater mollusks Lymnaeа and Planorbis, intermediate hosts of pathogens of fascioliasis, schistosomiasis, (orientobilharziasis) and paramphistomiasis in cjncentrations of 0,1–0,2 %. A significantly highmolluscicidal effect was established from the use of (potassium permanganate) and hydrogen peroxide, which shower 100 % efficacy at concentrations of 1:400000 and 1:40000. Table salt and tea soda have a certain molluscicidal property, in concentrations of 1:200–1:250 in relation to the volume of water in the reservoir.

Abstract

Significant economic damage to pond farms is caused by infectious diseases of bacterial etiology of carp. When conducting therapy and chemoprophylaxis, it is necessary to take into account the sensitivity of the causative agents of bacterioses to antibiotics used in farms, to which resistance is gradually developing in bacteria. Therefore, the search for new highly effective and harmless means of treatment and prevention of aeromonosis is an urgent problem of modern fish farming. The use of the veterinary preparation «Sulfaprimum 48 BT» for carp aeromonosis allows to obtain a high therapeutic effect and does not adversely affect the fish organism.
